Day 2 – Not Going Down Without A Fight
I’m back ladies and gentlemen, and I’m glad to see that so many people are so eager for help from the EBA! I’m sorry we can’t help you all more quickly, but we’re only human.
The votes have been tabulated, and it was a close one! Although it went right down to the wire (far too close to the wire actually. It seems quite undiplomatic to flip coins...), I’m pleased to announce that Captain Brooke (Sticks) came out on top. The Agents flew out to help him restore his treasure hunting fortunes and he managed to find a sunken treasure boat overflowing with gold and jewels! Now the good Captain can retire in piece with his trusty parrot by his side, all thanks to our help and your vote. You did well everyone.
Of course that isn’t the only thing! The Agents still have their choice to make! So let’s go over and join-
“We interrupt this broadcast with some breaking news. Earlier today terror struck one of the country’s biggest casinos was attacked by some sort of UFO. This comes shortly after the casino was broken into by masked thieves, stealing millions of dollars. It descended and fired a beam at local magician Thomas (kuhlmeye), turning him into stone. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. We now go live-“
Oh god, this is terrible! That man was a member of our forum. There has to be a connection with this and that group of-
“An update on the report, we have news of a similar attack at the local fairground. The target here was a Hulk Bryman(simonwolf), an ex-Major League baseball player who up until now worked there as a janitor. This is the same themepark that earlier today was attacked by a Rock Golem, an incident which put 3 children in critical condition. Hulk was also killed by being turned into stone by what onlookers described as “A giant black shape with an evil looking eye in the middle of it.” We will keep you updated as details unfold...”
This must be the work of those music hating hacker, I’m sure of it! We’re going to have to be extra vigilant about-
“Ladies and gentlemen an extraordinary scene is playing out at City Hall. A black UFO descended from the sky and announced that they were the Rhombulans, an alien race that vowed to destroy all music. It was then that those masters of rock, The Elite Beat Agents, flew in and started performing! The dancing and singing pained the Rhombulan (cj iwakura) and it eventually exploded! The Agents are just flying off now. Good job, Agents!”
Well, at least it’s not all doom and gloom. Clearly these “Rhombulans” can be defeated if we subject them to enough music. But I have a feeling that there are still more out there, and that they are systematically attacking members of this forum in order to get to the Agents, and stop the music forever. I implore you all, do not let this happen!
